Integrity Malaysia operates an Anti-Counterfeiting Hotline through our proprietary Canary™ Whistleblowing System, enabling the public or authorized professionals to report cases of counterfeiting, piracy, product tampering, imitation, and product diversion.

Online to Offline Inquiries

Based on online leads, our investigators identify the physical locations of sellers through OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) and HUMINT (Human Intelligence) activities. These findings enable our team to conduct in-depth counterfeit investigations.

Counterfeit Inquiries

Our investigators perform comprehensive inquiries to understand the counterfeit supply chain and identify wholesalers, importers, and manufacturers. These investigations involve desktop research, background checks, intelligence gathering, discreet approaches, and surveillance. We also trace the sources of parallel import and export products.

Enforcement

Depending on client requirements, Integrity Malaysia reports cases to relevant enforcement authorities such as the police, Food and Drug Administration, customs, or other regulatory bodies. We carry out both pre-enforcement and post-enforcement follow-ups to ensure continuity of action.

Take Down Activities

Integrity Malaysia undertakes take-down activities to ensure that a product that is advertised online is sold by the entitled party and does not violate any applicable laws. We collaborate with e-commerce platforms, social media companies, and government institutions to remove websites or pages that promote products infringing intellectual property rights.

Training

Integrity Malaysia conducts product knowledge and counterfeit awareness training sessions in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, enhancing their capability to identify and respond to counterfeit activities.
